Pete Harper has lived and worked on Daniel Island since 2002 and has been a DIBA member since 2010.  He was an integral part of the development of Downtown Daniel Island and its surrounding retail and office space. Pete works for Lee & Associates, a national commercial real estate company, as a Principal for the firm and specializes in office leasing and sales around the Charleston MSA.  After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Civil Engineering degree, he worked in general contracting in Boston, MA on the “Big Dig” and then moved to Nashville,TN in 1992 to pursue an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University with an emphasis on real estate finance.  Pete made a five year stop in Atlanta, GA to work for a large shopping center developer before moving to Daniel Island in 2003.  Pete, his wife, Lee, and their two children, Will and Catlin, all enjoy Charleston in many ways and hope to continue to serve the community as Daniel Island continues to grow.
